Still to finish
No new orders yet today, and the ones still open from yesterday counted for her.
The tour, written down
Checking overnight orders before the working day
Home opens with one line: how many orders came in today and how many are still open. Below it, Waiting for you counts the jobs: orders to confirm, a bank slip to check, parcels to pack and one to deliver, each opening its own list. Your shop link sits at the bottom, open for orders, with Send on WhatsApp.
What does this tour show?
It shows a seller with a busy life fitting her shop into the start of the day. Amira, a sample seller, sells candles, lip balms and a resold body butter to people who follow her online. Many of her orders arrive in the evening, when followers scroll after dinner. At nine the next morning, with coffee in hand and a school run behind her, she has fifteen minutes to see what needs doing before anything else takes over.
The tour has three short steps on one phone screen, Home: the top line, the Waiting for you list and the link panel.
Why look at one summary instead of every message?
Because messages and orders are not the same thing. A follower who asked "is the large candle back?" has not ordered. A follower who ordered and paid by transfer may not have messaged at all. When a seller works from her inbox, the quiet buyers wait longest. Home is built from orders, not chats, so every buyer who placed an order is counted whether or not they sent a word.
Step by step
-
Open the app on Home. At 09:00 Amira opens EasyTaskr. Home is headed Amira's Beauty Shelf. The coloured panel at the top is the first thing she reads.
-
Read the two numbers in the top line. It says "No new orders yet today · 7 still to finish". Nothing has come in since midnight, but seven jobs carry over from yesterday. Three chips repeat the detail: 3 new orders, 6 products and 1 slip to check.
-
Decide whether to share first or work first. A Share something button sits in the same panel. If the list were empty, a quick story with a product would be the best use of her fifteen minutes. Today there is work waiting, so she leaves sharing until lunch.
-
Look at Waiting for you. Four rows sit under that heading, each with an icon, a short hint and a count. "3 new orders to confirm: Confirm, then WhatsApp the buyer." "1 payment slip to check: Accept or reject each bank slip." "2 to pack: Confirmed orders." "1 to deliver: Packed orders."
-
Tap the first row and confirm. The three new orders came in last night. Tapping the row opens them. Confirming each one takes the stock and lets her send the buyer a quick WhatsApp to say it is on the way soon. This is the job that stops buyers wondering.
-
Check the slip against the bank. One buyer paid by bank transfer and uploaded a screenshot. Amira opens her banking app, finds the payment, and accepts the slip with the amount. If it had not arrived, she would reject it with a short reason the buyer can read.
-
Plan packing and the drop-off. Two confirmed orders need packing at lunch, and one packed parcel needs dropping off. She notes that the drop-off can go on the way back from work, which is where the delivered tour picks up later in her day.
-
Check the link panel. At the bottom, Your shop link shows Open for orders and the address ending in amira-beauty. Copy link and Send on WhatsApp sit side by side.
-
Send the link to someone who asked. A friend of a customer asked for "your shop" in a message. Amira taps Send on WhatsApp, picks the friend and sends. The link goes with no typing.
Amira's nine o'clock list
| Row | Count | What it covers | When she does it |
|---|---|---|---|
| New orders to confirm | 3 | Orders placed yesterday evening | Now, before work |
| Payment slip to check | 1 | A transfer screenshot from a buyer | Now, with her banking app |
| To pack | 2 | Confirmed orders | At lunch |
| To deliver | 1 | A packed parcel | On the way home |
Seven jobs in total, matching the "7 still to finish" in the top line: three to confirm, one slip, two to pack and one to deliver.
Tips for sellers with another job
- Give Home a fixed slot each morning, even five minutes. Buyers who hear back before nine rarely chase.
- Confirm and message in one go. The WhatsApp hint on the row is there because a confirmation with a short note answers most questions in advance.
- Batch packing. Two parcels at lunch is quicker than one at eight and one at six.
- Keep the link in your bio and your WhatsApp status. Send on WhatsApp is for one-off requests; your profile does the rest.
- Use quiet mornings to share. If the top line says nothing is waiting, that is the moment for a story.
Common mistakes
Replying to chats before confirming orders. It feels polite to answer messages first, but buyers who have ordered are owed a confirmation before followers who are only asking.
Packing an unconfirmed order. Confirming is what takes stock. Pack from the To pack list, not from memory of last night's messages.
Leaving the slip for later. A buyer who paid by transfer is waiting with her money already gone. Check slips first thing.
Forgetting the To deliver row. A packed parcel that sits for two days is the one that gets a complaint.
What should you do next?
Get through the morning list, then look at something new. At lunchtime in Amira's day a skincare supplier invites her to resell its range; the next tour shows what the invite says and how she asks to join.
For the money side, the cash flow guide explains why parcels waiting for cash or transfers matter. The pricing guide helps when deciding what to share next, and the stock control guide has simple ways to keep counts right when products sell out quickly.
How EasyTaskr helps
Share & Sell's Home counts what is still to finish and lists the orders to confirm, bank slips to check, parcels to pack and to deliver, each a tap from its list. Your shop link shows whether it is open for orders and can be copied or sent on WhatsApp from the same screen.
Questions people ask
Why does Home say no new orders when I have orders waiting?
The first part counts orders placed since midnight. The second part, still to finish, counts everything not yet delivered, including orders from yesterday. Both are true at the same time.
What does Share something do?
It starts a share straight from Home, so on a quiet morning you can put something in front of your followers without hunting through menus.
How do I send my shop link to a new customer?
Tap Send on WhatsApp under Your shop link. A WhatsApp message opens with the link ready, and you choose who to send it to. Copy link puts it on your clipboard for anywhere else.
Can I see my orders on a computer as well as my phone?
Home and Orders are made for the phone first, which is how most social sellers work. You can also sign in from a browser on a laptop if you prefer a bigger screen for packing day.
What does Open for orders mean on my link?
That buyers can place orders through it. If you switch off taking orders in My link & shop, the label changes and buyers cannot order until you switch it back on.
